2017 URA Championship Regatta VenueThe favored site for the URA Championships is Butler, PA just north of Pittsburgh. Lake Arthur within the Moraine State Park provides the perfect venue for a 2000m race. The sheltered cove we race in is just the right length for 2000m with 7-8 lanes and a good view of the last 500m from the finish area. The map below marks the trailer parking and boat launch area. Due to the geographic spread of UAA schools, the "relatively" central location of the Lake Arthur and the characteristics of the lake make it ideal for our championship. View Larger Map

Trailer ParkingParking in the Pleasant Valley area parking lots on map linked above. The park is only open from Sunrise until Sunset. Therefore, the trailers need to be in place before sunset Saturday night or you can just come in Sunday morning. The park officials have generally allowed us access the park early (~5am) on race day. Click Here for a customized sunrise and sunset calculator. Select Butler and the month of the race. We are racing in a State Park, so every team should take care to not leave trash or damage the site in any way. Venue Information
